PCC August 12 Luncheon: Chicago’s Tech Media Leaders

The tech indus­try in Chicago today is hot­ter than ever. To com­mu­ni­cate suc­cess­fully about your com­pany or client, you not only need to be on the cut­ting edge of the newest trends – you need to under­stand tech media. Join us on August 12 to meet the lead­ing jour­nal­ists cov­er­ing Chicago’s tech scene and learn how to best work with them to make your next pitch a success!

The PCC monthly lun­cheon pro­gram will be held at Maggiano’s Lit­tle Italy, 516 N Clark Street, in Chicago

The pro­gram begins with reg­is­tra­tion and net­work­ing among Chicago com­mu­ni­ca­tion pro­fes­sion­als at 11:30 a.m., fol­lowed by a family-style lunch at noon. The pro­gram con­cludes at 1:30 p.m. Audi­ence mem­bers will be able to engage the speak­ers dur­ing a question-and-answer period. Reg­is­tra­tion is open here.

Early reg­is­tra­tion rates are avail­able for $40 (mem­bers), $55 (non-members), or $25 (stu­dents) through 5 p.m., August 7.  Late reg­is­tra­tion rates of $50 (mem­bers), $65 (non-members), or $25 (stu­dents) apply through 3 p.m., August 11.  Walk-in rates of $55 (mem­bers), $70 (non-members), or $30 (stu­dents) apply the day of the pro­gram. Stu­dents can also reg­is­ter for either the pro­gram only (FREE), or the pro­gram with dessert and bev­er­age for only $10. Stu­dentID must be shown.

The PCC monthly lun­cheon series matches experts in com­mu­ni­ca­tion fields with PR pro­fes­sion­als to dis­cuss top­ics of sig­nif­i­cant inter­est. Recent PCC pro­grams have fea­tured experts in tele­vi­sion news, cri­sis com­mu­ni­ca­tion, social media, the mag­a­zine indus­try and busi­ness media. The next lun­cheon is sched­uled for Sep­tem­ber 9, 2015 in Chicago.
