PCC's Resource for Job-Seekers and
Employers
The "Jobs in PR" list is an
employment resource for members of the Publicity Club of
Chicago. We welcome postings from public relations
practitioners seeking employment, employers looking for
qualified communicators and free-lancers or contractors
promoting their services. Also, if you're seeking
counsel on compensation, tips on tuning up your resume
or general job advice, you're in the right place.
You must be a member of the
Publicity Club of Chicago to post to this list for free.
(If you're not a member, you can post for $75.)
PCC will
check your name against the list of active members
before approving a request to join the "Jobs in PR"
list. For information about joining PCC, the largest
independent public relations association in the country,

All members of this list are free to
post messages that relate to jobs in public relations.
All postings are reviewed prior to being sent to the
list. The PCC Webmaster may limit excessive,
inappropriate or off-topic postings by any member of the
list.
We accept postings from non-members,
for a $75 fee. (Many non-member posters discover that
joining PCC is a great value with many benefits,
including unlimited posting to the Jobs in PR list.

are acceptable for posting?
Acceptable postings include:
Who may post?
Any member of the Jobs in PR list
may post to the list at
any time at no cost.
Non-members may
post for a fee of $75.
Who reads the postings (i.e., messages)?
All postings are sent to everyone on
the Jobs in PR list. Postings are not sent to
non-members.
I'm not a member of PCC. Why can't I get on the
list?
If you are not a current member of
PCC, you have the option of becoming a
member (click here for info on
membership dues options), or post as a non-member for a $75 fee.
Can I see a list of the jobs?
"Jobs in PR" is a "listserve" on
which any member of the list may send a message to the
list. These messages may contain information about an
available position, a situations-wanted notice or
anything else that relates to the topic of Jobs in PR.
At this time, we do not maintain a
database of job postings on the PCC Web site.
