CHICAGO (Jan. 29, 2013) – As the social media rev­o­lu­tion con­tin­ues to gain speed, the Pub­lic­ity Club of Chicago (PCC) will host a dis­cus­sion on “can’t miss” social media trends.  This infor­ma­tive lun­cheon event will high­light the lat­est devel­op­ments in social media and what is on the hori­zon for PR prac­ti­tion­ers. The PCC monthly lun­cheon pro­gram will be held Wednes­day, Feb­ru­ary 13, 2013, at Maggiano’s Lit­tle Italy, 516 N. Clark St., Chicago.

The pro­gram, “Social Media Trends for 2013 that PR Pros Need to Know,” fea­tures an esteemed panel of social media experts. Pub­lic rela­tions pro­fes­sion­als will have an oppor­tu­nity to learn from those track­ing the value of social media opti­miza­tion and find­ing suc­cess for their companies/clients by using social media effectively.

The pro­gram begins with reg­is­tra­tion and net­work­ing among Chicago com­mu­ni­ca­tion pro­fes­sion­als at 11:30 a.m., fol­lowed by a family-style lunch at noon. The pro­gram begins at 12:30 p.m., and con­cludes at 1:30 p.m. Audi­ence mem­bers will be able to engage pan­elists dur­ing a question-and-answer period.
