Join the Publicity Club of Chicago and our host, the Chicago White Sox, on Wednesday, April 12, for a speed pitching and networking event at the Wintrust Scout Lounge at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Journalists will be on hand to listen to your pitches in quick, one-on-one conversations. This event will offer a unique forum for relationship-building and face-to-face conversations with reporters, producers, and other media professionals.
Pitch your segments, stories, products, or just introduce yourself and forge a connection for the future. Even if you don’t have a particular “pitch” it’s still a wonderful opportunity to introduce yourself to each journalist and start building key relationships.
When not directly pitching, you will be able to network with other communications and media professionals. Attendees that arrive early will be able to take photos on the field as long as the weather cooperates. Space is limited due to the nature of the event so early registration is encouraged.

5:00pm-6:30pm | Speed Pitching Program
6:30pm-7:00pm | Light Networking and Close
The on-field opportunity will be between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm only. Attendees may stay inside The Wintrust Scout Lounge between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm if they would like. No extra innings here, the event will end promptly at 7:00 pm.

Guaranteed Rate Field is located at 333 W. 35th St. in Chicago, IL. Attendees will be able to park in Lot D for free. As displayed on this map, Lot D is steps away from our venue for the event, the "3 1/2 Star" on the map that is the Wintrust Scout Lounge.
This page on the Chicago White Sox website also includes a list of ways to get there via public transportation. Rideshare vehicles will be able to drop off their passengers at Lot D for this non-gameday event.
